Mentor Rotary embarks on its 41st year and it is my pleasure to serve the club as president for 2007-2008. “Rotary Shares” is the theme for this year. Our members are exemplary in the sharing of their time, skills and money to help improve our community, country and world. We need to continue “sharing” our club encouraging more people to join our membership. The Rotary motto “Service above Self” is the critical measuring stick throughout our many projects which we as Rotary members enthusiastically support. As our year precedes, Mentor Rotarians will ”share” in the Leukemia Plus screening, the Dictionary Project for third grade students in all Mentor schools, woodworking with Deepwood students and the fund raisers that support these projects. Let us continue to “share” from our community to the worldwide stage.
